We invite you to embark on Grayhound and discover the bay of Douarnenez aboard a Cornish lugger.

During this trip of about 3 hours, the crew will introduce you to the ways of old sailing ships and to life on board. Our Captain and crew will ensure your safety... while admiring the magnificent coast and the other boats around us.

You will be picked up at the round Pier, the jetty opposite the café "Les Filets Bleus", on the port of Rosmeur in Douarnenez and will disembark at the end of the day at the same place.

A short safety briefing will be presented to you and then life jackets will be distributed to you. Then you will embark on a large zodiac (the boat's annex) to join the Grayhound at anchor. You will have to climb from the zodiac to the deck of the ship, so make sure you are in good enough physical condition to join the ship.

The crew will always be there to answer your questions and help you. The captain will plan your itinerary to make the most of the weather conditions on the day.

We are now mainly sailing in French waters, therefore the main language onboard is French. Most of the professional crew onboard is able to speak both English and French.
