We invite you to embark on Grayhound and discover Douarnenez Bay aboard a Cornish lugger. During this trip of approximately 7 hours, the crew will introduce you to the maneuvers on old sailing ships and to life on board.

Lunch will be served on board, as well as tea, coffee and snacks, because the sea air makes you hungry!

Our Captain and crew will ensure your safety... while admiring the magnificent coast and the other boats around us. You will be picked up at the round slipway, the jetty opposite the café "Les Filets Bleus", on the harbour of Rosmeur in Douarnenez and will disembark at the end of the day at the same place. A short safety briefing will be presented to you and then life jackets will be distributed. Then you will embark on a large zodiac or a rowboat (a dinghy of the boat) to join the Grayhound at anchor. You will need to climb from the tender to the deck of the ship, so make sure you are fit enough to get on board. The crew will always be there to answer your questions and help you.

The captain will plan your itinerary to make the most of the weather conditions on the day. With so many options, you can be sure to have a fantastic and memorable day.

We now mainly sail in French waters, therefore the main language on board is French. However, most of the professional sailors on board are able to speak English and French.
